Thank you for proposing projects for our annual Big Day of Service! We are looking for both COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT projects (spreading mulch, painting, landscaping, etc) and ENCOURAGEMENT projects (care packages, flowers arrangements for shut-ins, card making, etc).

We're looking for opportunities to beautify physical spaces and encourage people in Fair Oaks and Orangevale through the 2024 Big Day of Service. Not all submitted project ideas will be approved, but we will be in touch either way. If you are willing to be a Project Leader, it is more likely that your project will be approved! 

PROJECT GUIDELINES

> Must take place on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 between 10am - 2pm 

> Be located in or have a benefit for Orangevale or Fair Oaks 

> Involve no less than 10 and no more than 50 volunteers 

> Youth highly encouraged to participate 

> Must have a broad benefit for the community

> Approximate budget supplied from BDOS Event: $500/project
